The Victorian Diamond and Opal convertible Brooch, with small french markings, was created by a master craftsman. The center is a fine vibrant blue opal, encompassed by a bow-shaped brooch with a diamond tassel. The front is in white gold, while the back is in yellow gold and silver. The pin-back on this versatile piece is removable, allowing it to be worn as a pendant. The quality of this fine brooch is on par with jewelry produced by major houses such as Tiffany, Fabergé, and Cartier during this time period. Length: 2 3/8” Width: 2 1/8”  19th century.
