Tianhuang Seal

Regular price $65,000

This antique Tianhuang Seal is skillfully carved into the form of an imperial garden lion with finely incised markings and elaborate details. The treatment of the lion, with its subtle yet well-defined muscles and strong, curvaceous body testifies to the artist's consummate skill. Its base reveals a two-character signature. Tradition shows that the rare Tianhuang, with its lush and warm amber tones, has been considered the most valuable type of Shoushan stone.
