These are made with a square stepped base and double row of convex domed gadroon borders, with C curved plinth capitals at the top. They measure 10.5 inches tall and the base is 5 x 5 inches square.
Each Candlestick weighs approximately 18.2oz (without the wood base insert). Circa 1760. Signed with Lion Passant, Lions head. "D". Makers Mark W And A. Wear commensurate with their age. Fine patina. The wood base inserts are covered in felt.
