At the pinnacle of Neolithic design, our bird pendant was crafted over 2,000 years ago to symbolize love and commitment. This piece is specifically rare because of its elongated shape which likely signifies the vast wealth and privilege its owner had. The silky brown patina derived from thousands of years of age is a feeling unlike any modern object and immediately creates a chilling experience when held. Chinese symbolism equates the bird with freedom and happiness. Light brown color with splashes of tan. A hole drilled through it so it can be suspended as a pendant or amulet. Approximately 2 3/4" long x 1" wide. Circa 2000-12000 B.C.
