These Enameled Opera Glasses - Binoculars were custom designed by the Czech Art Nouveau painter and decorative artist, Alphonse Mucha. Known for being the first major artist in the Art Nouveau movement, this one-of-a-kind piece is a true work of art. By the 1900s, opera glasses rose to popularity and were a must-have fashion accessory for affluent theater-lovers. A great deal of care and precision has gone into these intricately decorated and carefully encrusted glasses.
