Pierced On Each End To Allow For Suspension. Overall Dark Brown/Black Color. The Details On These Huang Are Superb. Zhou Dynasty - Circa 11th-9th Century BC. Approximately 5 3/4" Wide x 3/8" Deep.

A PAIR OF CELADON JADE ‘DRAGON’ HUANG
EARLY TO MID-WESTERN ZHOU DYNASTY, CIRCA MID-11TH-MID-9TH CENTURY BC
Each arc-shaped huang is carved on both sides with a stylised motif that represent the dragon’s body and legs, that terminates at each end with an abstract dragon head. A small hole is drilled for suspension to both ends of each jade.
