By the 1900s, opera glasses rose to popularity and were a must-have fashion accessory for affluent theater-lovers. A great deal of care and precision has gone into these intricately decorated and carefully encrusted glasses. Due to the delicateness of the enamel, each color was kiln-fired at a different temperature.
